Tandem Haikus

We love everything tandem, including creative haikus. Here are a few that we found on Facebook from Steve Shaw. We hope that you enjoy them and maybe can come up with a few of your own.

On upright tandems
Stokers have cause for complaint
The view stays the same

Tandem bicycles
Can put old married couples
Quickly back in sync

On a tandem bike
Two heads are better than one
We can still get lost

Seeing a tandem
They shout it every time
She's not pedaling

It's such a cliche
Tandem pairs in matching kit
Called doublemint twins

Tandem Conundrum
Single bikes pass going up
But block going down

Thank you Steve for sharing your talent! We would love to see if any of you can think of any more! Send any that you would like to share with us!

Several of our newsletter readers sent us haikus. Here are some:

We love tandeming,
Because we meet couples who
Have to get along.

Pumping hard uphill
Moving like tractor trailers
Coasting down is fun.

"She’s not pedaling“
That's not true, on this tandem!
We have rear wheel drive!

Your relationship
Will accelerate faster
On a tandem bike!

My Captain And Me
We Love Riding Our Tandem
Me And My Captain

She tells me to stop
But you know who's in control
We do what she says
