We are thrilled to share that we greatly enjoyed our France trip (July 2019) and that we were very impressed by Adventures in Tandem’s (AIT’s) product and the personal work and philosophy of both Mike & Caren.  Though we are new to organized Tandem touring, we have utilized a variety of tour companies to supplement our global travels, and we found that AIT offers an enjoyable blend of daily rides, historical sites and local culture (along with great French food and wine) that will please a variety of tandem travelers.

The daily rides were well thought out, tested, and integrated into Ride with GPS, which was good for us since we were the least GPS-ready team on the tour, (no Garmin and one broken cell phone).  In addition to Mike’s daily ride briefings and support, Caren took the time to research the region and then provided us daily briefings on the Loire Valley along with its historical figures and sites.

They pay attention to the details (and yes, both Caren & Mike are detailed oriented) and yet they provided the flexibility and environment that made it extremely fun to share the time and adventure with the other tandem teams – we no doubt made life-long, tandeming friends!

Not only do we highly recommend Adventures in Tandem, we have signed up for their 2020 Copenhagen trip.
