Debbie and I traveled with Adventures in Tandem to Tuscany for a week this fall. The lodging that Mike and Caren selected was fabulous and very well thought out for a cycling vacation. The routes created by Adventures in Tandem were a great mix of challenging biking and sightseeing/touring. Mike was extremely supportive in helping people fine tune any bike issues in the middle of the ride. Let’s face it – we sometimes make little mistakes re-assembling our tandems – Mike was able to help us properly re thread our chain through the rear derailleur! Caren was able to find an incredible chef for several of our dinners. This chef was very accommodating to various food sensitivities and preferences. Having meals together in a Tuscan villa was a social and epicurial highlight! The chef even brought in incredible Tuscan ‘no-label’ wine! Debbie and I have been on several tandem vacations – this was the best! We can’t wait to travel with Adventures In Tandem again!
